In current times modern healthcare systems are being redesigned with introduction of Internet of Things. This facilitates a patient being examined by an ex[ert doctor at a remote place. However, patient data is transmitted and received over internet and hence these are prone to cyber attacks. Hence, it is important to develop a model that is robust against these attacks. Security of medical data is a huge challenge. In this investigation, various cryptograhic algorithms are presented that can mitigate cyber attacks. An innovative cryptographic algorithm with additional security features is presented in this work. This algorith is lightweight yet robust and hence suitable for IoMT applications.
