Laboratory Development
  • Environmental Microbiology and Genomics Laboratory,  National Institute of Technology, Rourkela,   The Laboratory has been developed with the aim of setting up all the facilities for conducting research and teaching experiment in the area of Environmental biotechnology specially in Environmental Omics and Ecology and their application in different aspects including waste management, bioremediation, microbial community structure and function analysis, production of novel products through OMICs, Biosensor development etc. Presently the Laboratory is having PCR, Gel aparatus, UV-Transluminator, Gel image capturing Camera, Microwave, Incubator shaker, Temperature controlled centrifuge, Vortex, Magnetic stirrer, -20 degree refigerator, Research refrigerator, weighing balance, pH meter from DST and SERB funded Projects
