BIOGRAPHY
Priyanka Saini completed her B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar in 2019. She earned her Ph.D. as a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in December 2023. Following her Ph.D., she worked as an Early Post-doctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi until March 2024. She then joined the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela as an Assistant Professor Grade II in July 2024. Her research focuses on the mechanical behavior of advanced materials, particularly in the areas of structure-property correlations, nanoindentation, and fracture mechanics.
