BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Jogesh Chandra Dash obtained his B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela in 2013. M. Tech in Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering with RF and Microwave specialization, from VSSUT (formerly UCE), Burla in 2016 and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with specialization in RF and Microwave Communication from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay in 2021. During his Ph.D., he has worked closely with various industries such as Coal India Limited, Ministry of Coal, GoI, and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and Institute of Eminence-IISc Post-Doctoral Fellow at iDARE lab, ECE Dept., Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore from March 2021-September 2022 and from October 2022-April 2023 respectively. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Dr. Dash serves as a reviewer in several journals like IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Access, IET Microwave and Antenna Propagation, Electronics Letters and Wiley International Journal of RF and Computer-Aided Engineering. He has 1 book chapter, 5 filed Indian patents and authored and co-authored 39 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and at international conferences. Dr. Dash is the recipient of the URSI Young Scientist Award (YSA) twice (in URSI-RCRS 2022 and URSI-GASS 2023). His research interests include Full-Duplex antenna design for 6G communication, MIMO antenna design, and analysis, MIMO RADAR antenna design and integration study for automotive applications, antennas for wireless power transfer for biomedical applications, Electrically Small Antennas, and space-time metamaterials.
