Syllabus
Numerical project:
Development of analytical/numerical model for assessing the heat and mass transfer characteristics of thermal systems, Design of AI/ML tool for predicting and optimizing the system design.
Experimental project:
Design and development of the thermal system, Experimental analysis and performance assessment of the specified thermal system, and Performance comparison of experimental data with AI/ML tool predicted data for a given thermal system.
Course Objectives
- After the successful completion of this design project, one can get familiarized with the practical application of industrial/thermal systems and get trained on consultancy/research projects. Further, promotes a designed system for starting a good start-up.
- To work on the research problems and provide engineering solutions to them.
- Training on consultancy/research projects and providing awareness for starting a Start-Up.
- Assessment of marketing feasibility/promoting strategies for the proposed/developed thermal system.
Course Outcomes
1. Familiarizing the basic understanding of thermal systems. <br />2. Getting trained on design guidelines related to thermal systems. <br />3. Training on AI/ML tools or Analytical models for performance prediction of thermal systems. <br />4.
