Syllabus
Introduction to system design using embedded processor, Design of combination logic circuit and its optimization techniques, Design of sequential circuits with finite state machine, Logic families and I/O standards, Number representation & computational techniques for HDL based systems, Field programmable Gate Array: Concept & architecture, HDL coding for digital systems, Introduction to integrated system environment and simulator for HDL coding and testing, System design using HDL for various applications.
Course Objectives
- The student will be able to identify, formulate combinational & sequential circuit design problems with modern theoretical knowledge.
- The student will be skilled to use modern circuit design tools, software, and equipment to analyze problems
- The student will be able to design and implement reconfigurable digital circuit with optimal use of resources
