Course Objectives
- The course intends to develop the feel of design and development of a real product.
- The course intends in developing understanding the expectations from a product and to execute principles of product design in industrial projects.
- You are expected to develop knowledge and practical skill through theoretical and practical training.
- You are required to develop products, give seminars, perform product teardown – using both dissection and buildup and submit term / research project (Design Project) on chosen topics.
Course Outcomes
The end output should be a “functional” proto-type model / scaled model. <br />You are also required to prepare a product catalog / brochure presenting the highlights of the product generated.
