Who can attend the XXIII Convocation?
The students who obtained degree in 2025 from NIT Rourkela are welcome to attend the XXIII Convocation
Where is the Convocation Venue?
Bhubaneswar Behera Auditorium is the venue for Convocation
Can all the degree recipients be allowed to sit inside BBA during Convocation?
No, the students will be waiting in the Rajendra Mishra Hall in a definite sequence and enter the Convocation Venue in the same order.
Can the accommodation be provided in Institute Guest House for degree recipients?
No, only gold medal winners will be provided accommodation in the Institute Guest House.
Can the parents accompany the degree recipients?
Yes, parents can accompany a degree recipient.
Will the parents be allowed to enter the Convocation venue?
No, arrangement has been made in Rajendra Mishra Hall and Pranakrushna Parija Auditorium to witness the live streaming of Convocation proceedings due to limited number of seats in the Convocation venue
Is it compulsory to attend the rehearsal for Convocation on 05th September 2025?
Yes, it is compulsory.
Can one attend the Convocation if she/he reaches on 06th September 2025 morning?
She/he is permitted to collect Uttariya and Convocation kit but not allowed to enter the Convocation venue. Late comers can witness the live streaming of Convocation proceedings.
If someone makes mistake during filling of pre-registration form, can it be rectified?
No, you cannot modify. But drop a mail to Assistant Registrar (Research) for any assistance.
How can I collect certificate if I do not attend the Convocation?
One can download the certificate from DIGILOCKER on 07th August 2025. Hard copy of original certificate will be sent by post.
Will the Convocation dress be provided by the Institute?
No. Only Uttariya and Convocation kit will be provided by the Institute. The male graduands need to arrange/procure off-white colour Kurta (full sleeve)-Pyjama themselves. The female graduands need to arrange/procure off-white colour saree with golden border with matching blouse themselves.
Do we need to return the Uttariya after Convocation is over?
No. The graduands can keep the Uttariya as part of memory
