Shri Uday A. Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is a persona with an illustrious career spanning over 37 years in the coal mining sector, Shri Kaole has demonstrated unparalleled leadership and technical expertise.
Shri Kaole is an alumnus of Nagpur University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering and is also First Class Mine’s Manager. He further enhanced his academic credentials with an MBA and LLB.
Shri Kaole began his journey in Coal India Limited (CIL) in 1987 and has since held pivotal positions across WCL, SECL, and served as Director (Technical) at BCCL, before his appointment as CMD, MCL on 19th December 2023.
