BASIC INFORMATION

  • Make & Model : NA
  • Department : Life Science
  • Location : RNAi Lab (Room # MN342)
  • Category : Category - III
  • Status : Non-Functional

PRINCIPLE:

In qPCR, exactly the same procedure happens but with two major differences: first, the amplified DNA is fluorescently labeled (usually with cyanine-based fluorescent dyes), and second, the amount of fluorescence released during amplification is directly proportional to the amount of amplified DNA.

APPLICATION:

In qPCR, exactly the same procedure happens but with two major differences: first, the amplified DNA is fluorescently labeled (usually with cyanine-based fluorescent dyes), and second, the amount of fluorescence released during amplification is directly proportional to the amount of amplified DNA.
