The machine is hydraulic controlled. The data is acquired using a computer interface. The output is load vs. deformation or stress vs. strain plot of metallic/composite materials.
The machine can evaluate the yield and tensile strength of upon uniaxial tensile loading. It can also be utilized for finding out the fatigue that is behaviour of the material on cyclic loading.
