“High Resolution Mass Spectrometer” is used for determining the Mass of molecules ranging from small organic molecules to high molecular weight proteins and polymers. The technique involves first the purification/separation of the sample by the HPLC system followed by the detection of mass of individual components of the sample by vaporisation and ionisation of the molecule.
