- Mechanical testing laboratory, National Test House (ER), Ministry of Consumer affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, Kolkata, Coordinated a research project between National Test House (ER), Ministry of Consumer affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, Kolkata and RDCIS (SAIL), Ranchi in year 2004-2005 related to development of roof supports in underground coal mines. Devised new tensile test facility for roof bolts testing and established related laboratory, analyzed test results, suggested measures to improve the quality of roof bolts. A letter of appreciation was awarded in this regard from RDCIS (SAIL) Ranchi.
