BIOGRAPHY

Dr V. Arun Prasath works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Process Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Sundargarh, Odisha, India – 769008. He received PhD degrees in Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering from TNAU in 2012 and 2016. He has more than ten years of teaching and research experience in the field of Food Process Engineering. He has 30 research publications, ten popular technical articles, and one book to his credit. His research interests are in post-harvest handling and storage of fresh commodities, extraction of bioactive components, and Design and development of processing equipment. He has taught basic engineering as well as advanced food process engineering courses for undergraduate students of various disciplines at Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (KCAET), Kerala Agricultural University, Tavanur and in Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
