BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Bhishma Tyagi's Ph.D. research at IIT Kharagpur was focused on the Atmospheric Boundary Layer characteristics and thermodynamics. He worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Meteorology, Stockholm University, Sweden, and as a Scientist at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) before joining the NIT Rourkela. His research interests mainly include Boundary Layer Meteorology, Air Pollution, Atmospheric Physics, Natural Hazards, Weather Extremes, and Atmosphere-Biosphere Interactions.
