BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Venkata Ramana Naik N (Senior Member, IEEE and IEEE IES) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India, in 2006, and the M.Tech. degree in power electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, in 2009 and a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India in Feb. 2016. He joined in August 2015 and is currently working as an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Rourkela, India. Dr. V R Naik received the prestigious BRICS – Young Scientist Award 2022 on the thematic area of Artificial Intelligence from the National Institute of Advanced Studies DST. Also, he was dealing with a SERB-sponsored research project on "Design and Control of a Fast and Efficient Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger for Domestic Installation," Mar. 2022 and shall continue for the same till March 2025. Prof. Naik published nearly 74 publications like IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, etc. Also. Prof. Naik is an active professional IEEE and IEEE IES Senior Member 2021, and has given invited/expert talks at various Conferences /FDPs /STCs /etc.
