BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Surja Sekhar Chakraborty is serving as an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of NIT Rourkela. Before joining NIT Rourkela, Dr. Chakraborty worked at Schneider Electric India Pvt Ltd. as an R&D manager for one and a half years, where he demonstrated the working prototype of a Solid State Circuit Breaker. He received B.E. in Electrical Engineering from IIEST Shibpur and received MS and PhD degrees from IIT Madras. He extensively worked on the hardware design and control system design for isolated DC-DC converters during his PhD. His research area includes dc-dc converter, high frequency magnetics, advanced multivariable control system design, wide-bandgap device based power electronic converter.
