BIOGRAPHY

Poonam Singh received her B.Tech degree from VSSUT (earlier known as University College of Engineering) Burla in 1988, M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology (earlier known as Regional Engineering College) Rourkela in 1991 and Ph. D from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. She is a faculty at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (earlier known as Regional Engineering College) since 1991. She has published more than 100 journal and conference papers, attended many national and international conferences. Her teaching and research interests include Analog and Digital Communications, Wireless Communications, Multicarrier Modulation, Spread Spectrum Modulation, Cooperative Communications, Cognitive Radio, 5G and 6G Communications. She is a senior member of IEEE, Life member of ISTE and member of many IEEE societies. She has supervised 13 Ph.D. students, out of which 7 have graduated and 6 are continuing Ph. D.
