BIOGRAPHY

Saptarshi Chatterjee has completed his Ph.D. (Engg.) from the Electrical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 2021 and M. Tech from Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta in 2012. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He has significant technical research publications in archived journals, peer-reviewed conferences and authored one book from Academic Press, Elsevier. He is also the recipient of Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Fellowship, MeitY, Govt. of India and two Best Paper Awards in International Conferences. He has received the ‘Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2021’ from IEEE Signal Processing Society, Kolkata Chapter and ‘Outstanding Volunteer Award 2020’ from IEEE Kolkata Section. His research initiatives are focused in the area of Biomedical Signal Processing, Medical Image Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for condition monitoring of biomedical systems.
