Syllabus
Communication Design focuses on the foundations of visual communication that are relevant to a variety of disciplines, such as two-dimensional composition, letterforms,
typesetting, and the typographic grid. Practical software skills and design vocabulary will be covered, though the goals of the course aim much deeper. Through lectures, demonstrations, in-class
exercises, readings, projects, and critiques, successful students will internalize the design process and the power of visual communication.
Course Objectives
- To impart fundamentals and cultivate a creative eye for different creative medium.
- To provide application ended knowledge to the students.
Course Outcomes
1. Students will be confident in analyzing media. <br />2. Students will be able to synthesize new creative media ideas backed by sound fundamentals.
