7. Determination of washability characteristics of coal sample by float and sink analysis
8. Determination of calorific value of coal using bomb calorimeter
9. Determination of Hard groove Grindability index of coal
10. Determination of Crossing point temperature of coal
11. Determination of Critical Air Blast value coal
12. assessment of spontaneous heating susceptibility of coal using DTA
13. Assessment of spontaneous heating susceptibility of coal using wet oxidation potential analysis

Course Objectives
- To learn the determination of various physical, chemical, special properties of coal
- Ability to determine the heating and coking properties of coal
- To learn the determination of washability of potential of coal
- To learn the determination of gas content of coal.
Course Outcomes
