Syllabus
Reflected light microscopic studies of common sulfide and oxide minerals understanding and interpreting ore textures and mineral paragenesis and ore genetic implications. Etching of selected polished sections for detail texture and paragenesis. Demonstration of fluid inclusion microthermometric experiments and analysis of inclusion fluids by Laser Raman micro-spectrometry.
