Ore deposits types and classification Metallogeny through time and space and its relation to crustal evolution Thermodynamic and phase equilibria in common ore bearing sulphide systems Igneous ore forming processes: partial melting and crystal fractionation, liquid immiscibility, mechanisms of formation of chromites, and formation of Ni- Cu- sulfide (+PGE) and Fe-Ti oxide deposits Magmatic-hydrothermal processes Pegmatite and granite-related ore deposits Porphyry Cu-Mo, Sn-W, skarns and near-surface epithermal Au-Ag-(Cu) deposits Hydrothermal processes Ore fluids: physico-chemical aspects related to metal transport (and deposition) Sources of ore fluid and metals through fluid inclusions and stable isotopes Modern sea floor hydrothermal deposits Mineralogical, geochemical and genetic aspects of sedimentary, SEDEX and VMS ores, including Indian examples Ores and metamorphism: cause and effect relationships.
