Abstract:
The aim is to have a better understanding of the thermally induced aggregation and disaggregation of protein, which are responsible for many neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, etc., in the presence of a crowding environment (Cyclodextrin, polyethylene glycol, glycan etc.) and as a function of different pHs. The use of the crowder is to mimic the cellular environment and to bridge between in vitro and in vivo protein biophysical processes.
