3. Closed loop control of boost converter

5. Simulation of ZVS and ZCS converter
6. DC motor drive using universal bridge PWM converter
7. Simulation of close loop controlled DC Motor Drives
8. Open loop V/f control of induction motor
9. Induction motor drive using P-I controller
10. Three phase PWM rectifier for utility interface with active current shaping for unity power
factor

Course Objectives

  1. To acquire skill in MATLAB programming and SIMULINK simulation of power electronic circuits and drives
  2. To acquire skill in MULTISIM simulation
  3. To design and develop closed loop Induction motor drive using P-I controller
  4. To develop three phase PWM rectifier for utility interface with active current shaping for unity power factor
