Syllabus

Introduction to system design using embedded processor, Design of combination logic circuit and its optimization techniques, Design of sequential circuits with finite state machine, Logic families and I/O standards, Number representation & computational techniques for HDL based systems, Field programmable Gate Array: Concept & architecture, HDL coding for digital systems, Introduction to integrated system environment and simulator for HDL coding and testing, System design using HDL for various applications.

Course Objectives

  1. The student will be able to identify, formulate combinational & sequential circuit design problems with modern theoretical knowledge.
  2. The student will be skilled to use modern circuit design tools, software, and equipment to analyze problems
  3. The student will be able to design and implement reconfigurable digital circuit with optimal use of resources
