Testing of single phase energy meter at different power factors, Study of open circuit and short circuit test of single phase transformer, Study of load test of single phase transformer, Study of power factor at different loads i.e. resistive, inductive & capacitive, Measurement of single phase power by three ammeters and three voltmeter method, Verification of Thevenin and Superposition theorem, Measurement of three phase power by two wattmeter method, To find the magnetization characteristic of a separately excited DC generator, To observe speed control of DC motor using: (A) Variation of armature voltage. (B) Variation of field flux.

Course Objectives

  1. Verify the topics related to circuits, theorems, transformers and DC Machines experimentally.
  2. To carry out tests on Transformers and DC machines for performance evaluation
