Communication and Networks (M.Tech. - 2yrs)

1 An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems in area of communication and networks
2 An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document. Students should present their reading and writing skills related to the subject topic under consideration
3 Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area of communication and networks. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements of undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication Engineering
4 To provide a broad knowledge in multi-disciplinary engineering subjects and latest technological advancements in image, signal processing, VLSI, and embedded design domains of engineering
5 To impart knowledge on practical communication system design and networking so that students will be able to design, operate, maintain the equipment’s relevant to telecommunication industry
6 Students will be broadly educated and will have an understanding of the impact of engineering on society and demonstrate awareness of contemporary issues. They also understand and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of engineering technology and practice
